Funding newsletter launch list
If you join the launch list, the website records your email address, the time you signed up and the consent statement you accepted. Sophie uses this to tell you when the newsletter launches and, if you remain subscribed, to send the weekly funding email with brief information about her services. The newsletter is not sending yet.
Signup is optional and relies on your consent. You can withdraw it and ask for your address to be removed at any time by emailing Sophie. Your information is not sold or given to other organisations for their own marketing. Launch-list information is kept while you remain on the list or receive the newsletter, and is removed when you withdraw, subject to any limited record needed to honour your request. This notice will be updated with the mailing provider and unsubscribe method before the first email is sent.
Enquiries
The contact form opens an email in your own email app. Its contents are not submitted to the website database. You decide whether to send it. Sophie uses emails you send to respond to your enquiry and manage any work you subsequently agree. This is based on her legitimate interest in handling enquiries and, where relevant, steps towards a contract. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry or working relationship and any applicable record-keeping obligations.
Website providers and resources
The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. The launch-list data is held in the site’s hosted database. Hosting and security providers process the information needed to run the website. The website uses Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google to display the typefaces. The site does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies; hosting security technology may use essential cookies or similar tools. Links to other websites lead to their own privacy notices.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or erase information about you, object to or restrict some uses, and withdraw consent for the launch list. Email Sophie to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Please avoid sending sensitive beneficiary, health or case information in an initial enquiry.
